Join us for the GRASP-Earth webinar on Tuesday, July 15th, and Wednesday, July 16th, to explore the emerging role of polar nephelometers in particulate pollution research. These instruments offer capabilities beyond traditional nephelometers, particle counters, or low-cost sensors. Interestingly, “polar” refers not to measuring polarization but to the arrangement of detectors around a central chamber.

The next webinar covers how polar nephelometry compares with classic methods to learn about AirPhoton’s recent development: the Mini-IMAP instrument. The Mini-IMAP delivers advanced particulate characterization and reliable performance, often matching what larger and more expensive instruments provide.

What to expect:

• Polar vs. integrating nephelometer capabilities
• Particulate data types possible with each
• Mini-IMAP data examples, including size distributions and AERONET comparisons
• Added benefits of including polarization measurements
• Mini-IMAP data use into broader EO strategies, bridging ground and satellite perspectives

Date: Tuesday, July 15, and Wednesday, July 16, 2025
Choose from two sessions:
• Session 1: 1 PM CET (7 AM EDT, 2 PM Arabian ST, 5:30 PM IST)
