The 17th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM 2026) and the 10th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering (ECCOMAS 2026) took place from 19–24 July 2026 in Munich, Germany. The congress is one of the leading international events in computational mechanics, bringing together researchers from academia, industry, and government to present advances in computational methods and engineering applications.

The scientific programme covered a broad range of topics in computational modeling, numerical methods, high-performance computing, and multiphysics simulations through plenary lectures, parallel sessions, and specialized symposia.

Our colleague, Dr. Konstantin Kuznetsov, contributed to the congress with an oral presentation entitled Parametric Reduced-Order Modeling of Urban Boundary-Layer Dynamics via Streaming DMD and Manifold Interpolation. The presentation showcased research on efficient reduced-order modeling techniques for urban boundary-layer flows, combining Streaming Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) with manifold interpolation to enable fast and accurate parametric analyses of complex urban environments.
