Collaboration across regions and institutions around the world offers opportunities to advance scientific and technological developments. Rare capabilities may be dispersed geographically, yet they can be connected through institutional channels to support larger, more ambitious initiatives.
Such is the case with the long-standing collaboration between AirPhoton and GRASP. Since 2022, under the umbrella of GRASP Earth, both companies have combined technological and scientific expertise in multi-angular polarimetry to prepare a constellation of nano-satellites designed to provide global coverage and near-real-time observations of particulate emissions from space.
On October 20th, the Embassy of France in the United States, together with the delegation of Région Hauts-de-France and the State of Maryland, hosted a dedicated event to acknowledge the success of these institutional efforts and their role in facilitating this cooperation.
We express our appreciation to the organizers and supporting institutions for creating the conditions that enable projects of this nature to develop.
