The QA4EO-2 Cal/Val Workshop #6, held in Helsinki on September 30th to October 2nd, brought together the teams involved in the QA4EO-2 ESA contract to review and assess progress in their Calibration and Validation (Cal/Val) activities. The event provided a platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing technical developments across a broad range of Earth Observation (EO) domains, including Metrology, Atmosphere, Cryosphere, Land, and Water.

Representing GRASP, fellows Masahiro Momoi and Marcos Herreras presented their contribution on Cal/Val techniques for synergetic retrieval. This method is designed to use data from ground-based instruments to support satellite validation activities.
