GRASP Earth participated in the Above the Clouds Workshop, organized under the HARMONIA COST Action (CA21119), held in Tenerife, Spain, from May 26 to 28, 2025.
As part of the Aerosol Measurements Workshop, GRASP Earth team member Masahiro Momoi delivered an invited talk on aerosol inversion techniques, focusing on aerosol characterization using sun photometry.
The workshop was part of a broader outreach and training initiative aimed at enhancing knowledge and application of aerosol measurement techniques, particularly through sun photometry.

About HARMONIA COST
HARMONIA (CA21119) is a COST Action supported by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST). Its objective is to create a European network focused on the harmonization of atmospheric aerosol retrieval techniques. HARMONIA brings together researchers, technologists, and data users to address current inconsistencies in aerosol observations and to improve the integration of data from different satellite, ground-based, and model sources.
Through a collaborative framework, HARMONIA supports knowledge exchange, training, standardization efforts, and innovation in aerosol science, enhancing the scientific and societal value of atmospheric observations across Europe and beyond.
